Nanomedicine does not only take place in the US but it is also something that the world is working towards to together. Meetings are held regularly at different places around the globe to exchange researches results, below are some Asian countries that held events associated with Nanomedicine.

Korea

There's an institute in South Korea called The National Nanotechnology Policy Center (NNPC) "dedicated to the research and development of policies through collecting and analyzing of nano-related information for supporting the policy development and strategy establishment of the government’s nano technology." (W2). Moreover, the NNPC is involved in studying policies of nanotechnology, collecting and analyzing relative information, discovering new nanotechnologies as well as providing supports to researchers.

The National Medicine Research Center was established in 2009 in China. It is dedicated to mainly researches in nanomedicine, nano materials and the diagnoses, development and products of nanomedicine. Their newest project is the research of nanomedicine in Liver Cancer which started in 2012 and ended in 2016. The research center also held exchange programs from time to time for their students to exchange ideas with other students in different parts of the world. (W5)

Japan

The Nanotech Expo in Japan holds various nanotechnology exhibition and conferences from time to time to promote nanotechnology as well as demonstrating skills to different countries world-wide. The next event that they are hosting is the "Tokyo Big Sight" in February 14-16, 2018. Category of exhibits include: nano materials, nano evaluation and measurement as well as nano fabrication technology. (W7)
